Install once, then let your coding agent request fresh native-desktop context when it is useful.
The install-once Free workflow
- Open Noru and allow Screen Recording.
- Noru automatically configures the supported agents it detects.
- Restart an already-open agent once so it reloads its MCP configuration.
- Work normally and refer to what is on your screen.
- Your agent calls Noru when it needs native or cross-app visual context.
Each call captures once, runs Apple Vision OCR on the device, shows a visible acknowledgement, and returns a model-sized rendering of that local capture. The original remains on the Mac. Noru does not record continuously and has no capture upload service. Pause blocks new live observations; revoke blocks live and stored-history agent access until you authorize agents again. Neither deletes history. Command Shift 9 is an optional fallback, not the normal loop.
